There is part of us that wants our lives to count, to make a difference. And the world offers us flawed formulas to get there. We can exhaust ourselves chasing after unlimited wealth, prestige, and power. We can sacrifice our families, our health, and our gifts in an effort to gain recognition, awards, and notoriety.

It starts with being confident and growing in our relationship to Christ. And it leads to impact in two important places. We will unpack that opportunity as we look at 1 Thessalonians 4:9-12.
