As a church reaching out to families in the Story City area, children's ministry is a strong emphasis at Harvest E-Free and one that will continue to be a main focus of our ministry in this family-oriented community. Our children's ministries covers newborns on up through sixth-grade students.
(birth to 24 months)
Our nursery ministry is available at each worship service (8:30 & 11:00) and during the Sunday school hour. Open to infants, toddlers and two-year-olds. The nursery ministry serves to facilitate worship for parents by allowing them to leave their infants and toddlers (up to two years) in a "well-cared-for" environment, where the children can enjoy a positive introduction to the church family and God's love for them.
(preschool to 6th grade)
Meets each Sunday at 9:45 am and for children preschool through sixth grade. Our Sunday school ministry strives to help boys and girls age two years through grade six learn about God's love as expressed in the Bible, so each child has the opportunity to trust Jesus as personal Savior and grow in his/her relationship with Him.
(3 years old through 6th grade)
The AWANA ministry combines Scripture memorization and Biblical principles made personal with cool activities and tons of fun! AWANA meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm and is open to all children ages 3 through 6th grade. For more information about AWANA click here!
