Just a reminder that our library is a great resource for you. We have over 1,700 items in the library. We invite you to try our automated selection process and check out a title. If you don’t find a patron card with your name on it at the desk, you can use a ‘generic’ one the first time and we will then create a checkout card especially for you. The instructions are printed on a display by the checkout computer.

Remember you can keep up with church-wide events at Harvest through our website. The website features a calendar that links to our office and displays large-group events that are upcoming at Harvest. You can find this and much more at

Adult Gatherings is a time for adults to Reach Up and learn more about the word of God, and Reach Out and strengthen relationships within the church body

We have a series of growth groups that began in last fall! Check out the brochures on the information wall for details about the various dates and times and locations of our initial wave of groups. The brochures will be updated to reflect groups that are full and those that are maxed out as well. This is a great way to get to know others at Harvest on a personal level.

UPSIDE DOWN LIVING
Jesus view of reality is in sharp contrast with the way we normally look at life today. We invite you to join with us in our current teaching series (now through August) as we take a close look at key sections of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Jesus presents us with a picture of “Upside Down Living” and challenges us to re-think our values and our pursuits. He shows us how the Spirit can equip us to live as citizens of his Kingdom rather than clones of the kingdom of Man.

November 14-21, 2015 next short term trip to minister in Honduras, with a possible over night in Houston on November 13th. Team will have 2 parts:
1. Medical brigade in Tegucigalpa (we need more lay people than medical staff, but need both).  2. Construction team to the Ranch (we need more skilled professionals than lay people here).  Pray and ask God if He wants you to go, to support financially and/or be a prayer supporte

Sermon on the Mount by Jen Wilkin started on June 3rd at 9:30 am in the conference room book cost is $13, Lois Heckert is the leader.

Women of Faith DVD series Sunday, 10 - 10:45 am every week is a stand alone lesson, newcomers welcome! This group meets in the conference room, no book costs.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
We appreciate all those who help us love children and lead them to Christ at Harvest. The many volunteers make it possible for us to make an impact in these young lives. As we move into summer, we ask you to pray for a key volunteer position—our children’s ministry director. This role is currently vacant for fall. We are asking God to fill this role with a person in our body who has leadership abilities, the respect of many, a heart for children, and a gracious way of working with adult volunteers and our office staff. We know God has such a person here at Harvest. Please join with us in prayer as we ask God to fill this most important role.
PASTOR MATT’S CAREER TRANSITION
Most of you are aware of Pastor Matt’s transition this fall. We encourage you to pray for open doors and effective networking as Pastor Matt prepares to finish well at Harvest and move into his new role. The elders’ are meeting this month to develop a church-wide process that we can use to move forward wisely. (We’ll keep you posted as this unfolds.) Pray for discernment as we seek to stay focused on Jesus and his mission and make the most of the opportunities before us. Reserve August 19th for Pastor Matt's celebration, 7 pm here at the church to celebrate Matt's pastorate ministry here at Harvest.
Our church library is working to update our inventory. 113 books are currently overdue or MIA. If you have any of these and intend to return them, we would appreciate it if you would do so before July 1 by placing them on the shelf under the library’s computer. Those not returned will simply be removed from the inventory. :) —Cheryl West
Join Roy Watson and others for Francis Chan's study Crazy Love from 10 - 10:45 am in the hallway on our lower level near the elevator.  "God is calling you to a passionate love relationship with Himself. Because the answer to religious complacency isn't working harder at a list of dos and don'ts -- it's falling in love with God. And once you encounter His love, as Francis describes it, you will never be the same."
