Elders
Elders at Harvest have the responsibility of overseeing the spiritual health of our church as well as setting the vision and direction of the church (1 Tim 3:1-7). They work with pastors and ministry leaders to equip the saints (Eph 4:11-16) to make disciples (Mt 28:18-20). They are also given the responsibility of keeping Harvest true to the Word of God.
Deacons
Deacons at Harvest have been given the responsibility of caring for the needs of the congregation by overseeing the budget of the church, taking care of the building, as well as our benevolence ministry (Acts 6:1-7). They work with pastors and ministry leaders to make sure they have the resources necessary to accomplish the vision of making disciples, and they work to make sure the physical needs of the congregation are met (1 Tim 3:8-13).
